"whats the output" vs "why cares, and why" = way good. My thought is people like to know that somewhere, something is happening. That scenes are continuing to spawn IRL.
And those thing are increasingly happening outside of ways that are recognizable to us—which is good! Like people are making interesting art totally outside of the social media cone of light which both confounding because I can't see it and also invigorating because it means they're not being poisoned by the intense self-consciousness that comes with those platforms. Like they don't have to do the pre-cognition of reaction/backlash/reaction, it's more just "oh this is cool."
